He said that one day before the final he seriously felt ill during training but with the prayers of the nation he recovered soon and become part of the team in the final match against India. Plying against South Africa in the tournament, he explained gave him an outstanding boost for the final match, adding that he has always tried its level best to play natural game. My mother has always advised me to play the game with full attention and always concentrate on plying cut shorts instead of plying long shorts he smiled and thanked his mother on the occasion.
